Spring Sample Case!
We've got a Spring Sampler Case ready for you!
Here's what's inside:
Rose - Letrinquer - South France
This rose from South France is grown in a vineyard that is surrounded by Herbes de Provence– think lavender, thyme, and rosemary. This aroma is collectively referred to as ‘garrigue’ in south France. You’ll smell hints of garrigue in this wine! \
Rose - Rosa de Pompelmo - Calamandrana, Italy x2
Like a grapefruit mimosa in a bottle, this brunch-perfect fridge staple is rose with natural grapefruit essence. Refreshing, perfect for spring. Historically, wines often had other fruits mixed in– like the figs found at archeological sites in wine amphoras along the Nile river, or the 9,000 year old residue that showed Hawthorne fruit in the world’s oldest known wine, discovered in China.
Rose - Guilhem - South France
Classic crisp rose-- this historic area makes classic wines on their unique red glacial deposit soils!
Crisp Blanc - La Cappuccina Soave - North Italy x2
Made from the indigenous grape Garganega, Soave’s are the lake wine of north Italy. Locals enjoy this wine around Lake Como, Lake Garda, and more. It’s crispy and has a pear-like aroma.
Aromatic Blanc - Famaey - Gascogne Blanc x2
This blend of Sauvignon Blanc Colombard, and Ugni Blanc make for a tasty and aromatic wine with crisp acidity. White blends from Gascony often remind us of a Bordeaux Blanc.
Medium Red - Terrae Palmae - Sardinia x2
Made from Carignano del Sulcis. We think some of the most under-rated wines come from the beautiful and semi-secret island of Sardinia.
Bold Red - Aplanta - Portugal
This was our most popular wine of the March case! So we’re sending it out again. We got so much great feedback on this bottle. This might remind you of Rioja- but from Portugal! It’s from Alentejo, just inland from Lisbon.
Medium Red - Via Istrum ‘Esperanto’ - Danube Plain, Bulgaria
This sustainability farmed and woman owned winery is our underdog of the month! The vines are nestled around an ancient Roman fortress and wine production has a history dating back thousands of years– evidenced by the amphora that are constantly being found in the vineyards.
