Rouge
Rouge - La Ferla - Sicily, Italy
Dancing medium bodied rustic Sicilian wine, aromas of spice & incense. This is made from Nero d'Avola.
Rouge - La Motte - Languedoc, France
Tasty juicy Pinot Noir from France's Languedoc. Originally, communities of 'Oc' people lived here and spoke their own dialect, so the region became known as the Langue d'Oc, or Languedoc!
Rouge - Jean Foillard - Beaujolais, France
The subtle majesty of Foillard's wines never ceases to impress. We got a handful of cases this vintage, and are excited to share Foillard's tasty wines with you in our Spring Case. Crunchy, juicy Gamay with endless finish...
Aperitif
Blanc – Mattei - Corsica, France
Refreshing, richly textured quinquina from Corsica. Add soda and a spritz of zest for the perfect spring aperitif! This aperitif has been tried, tested, and approved by the shop staff.
Blanc
Blanc – DiFilippo Grechetto – Umbria, Italy 2017
A mineral-driven, almost savory Grechetto from Umbria. DiFilippo farms using biodynamics, and the wines are always clean, precise, and focused.
Blanc - Stolpman Sauv. Blanc - St. Barbara, CA 2017
Ballard Canyon in Santa Barbara is known for Syrah, but Stolpman makes this equally haunting Sauvignon Blanc. The concentration, density, and subtle nose all make a very elegant wine.
Blanc - Kuentz Bas Dry Riesling - Alsace, FR 2015
Have we mentioned the great 2015 vintage? This Riesling from Alsace is in a great place right now. It's dry, concentrated, and almost floral...
Blanc - Dom. de l'Ecu - Muscadet, France 2015
2015 again! Here is some yummy Melon de Bourgogne from France, full of depth and minerality. It's from near the Atlantic onGneiss soils- a granite-like metamorphic rock. Biodynamic certified farming.
Blanc - HB Picpoul - South France
Picpoul is one of the brightest, driest, crispest wines you'll find. Save this one in the back of the fridge for the first hot day, or pair with shellfish, and you'll be very happy :)
Blanc - Tripoz 'Clocher' - Macon Loche - France
The Macon in south Burgundy holds some of the most profound values. Here, you can drink Chardonnay of similar quality to Puligny or Meursault for at least half the price. Try this Macon, then keep your eye out for any Macon you might see out there-- 99% of the time, they will delight!
Your Spring Case will be available for pick up in the shop on March 19th, the day before Spring.
