Nisia Verdejo - Rueda, Spain - The sandy soils of Rueda are home to some of the oldest wines in Spain. This bottle is made from vines that are 80-100 years old! Crisp white wine, with a lush mid-palate.
Colle dei Bardellini Vermentino - Liguria Riviera, Italy Full-bodied white wine, silky and saline. Pair with cheeses or seafood. The wines grown here overlook the Mediterranean Sea, but have a backdrop of the Alps!
Botani Muscat - Malaga, Spain - grown at extreme high altitudes on incredibly steep hillsides, this Muscat is an historic wine that showcases how Malaga Muscat tasted in the 1800s. The wine smells like oranges, and has a deep, rich flavor to it, a hint off-dry. This wine is perfect with cheese, grilled tuna or salmon, shellfish, or general Mediterranean cuisine.
Breca Garnacha - Aragon, Spain - likely from where Garnacha (or Grenache) originated. The grapes in this bottle are from old vineyards high up in the mountains. Some of the vines were planted in 1925!
Camigliano Poderuccio - Tuscany, Italy - A classic Super Tuscan blend of Merlot, Cab Sauv, and Sangiovese. Think Chianti with a bit of heft. The perfect Pizza Wine?
Leone de Castris Primitivo - Puglia, Italy - deep, dark, velvety, blackberry-like rich red wine from the boot of Italy. Primitivo and Zinfandel are closely related.
